Name Your Wages

When Value Finally Speaks

Every generation reaches a moment when silence becomes too costly. When the weight of unspoken value becomes heavier than the fear of naming it. When the soul begins to whisper what the mouth has been too conditioned, too polite, or too afraid to say: « This is what I am worth. »

This book was born at that moment.

Not in the boardroom. Not in a strategy retreat. Not in a classroom. But in the quiet, personal realization that many of us—brilliant, gifted, hardworking, and anointed—are living far below the value God placed inside us. We are Jacobs working in Laban’s systems: faithful, productive, loyal, yet underpaid, underestimated, and under-recognized.

And like Jacob, we have been waiting for someone to notice. Someone to reward us. Someone to promote us. Someone to say, « You deserve more. » But do you know that heaven is waiting for us to speak first?

Genesis 30:28 is a confrontation. A mirror. A divine interruption. « Name your wages, and I will pay them. »

It is God using the mouth of an exploitative employer to awaken a man who had forgotten his own value.

This book is written for that awakening.
