“Make some coffee. You’ll read all night.” Lee Child

Provoke Reacher? Only once.

FBI Special Agent Kim Otto recognizes the play instantly. Using his nephew to antagonize Reacher is a dangerous plan.

When a stranger approaches Jake Reacher in a parking lot at Fort Benning, Jake is close enough to kill. But Bennett Ford wants him alive. For now.

Ford delivers a written threat with a photograph to back it up, showing his crew is already in place. Jake heads straight home after him.

Jake calls Agent Otto. She’s already flying, with backup. He calls his uncle and gets no answer. Reacher might be on the way, if they’re lucky.

Ford picked this fight. Will he live to regret it?
