Cold Caller

Once a rising vice president at a prestigious New York ad agency, Bill Moss has fallen hard. Now he spends his days cold-calling strangers from a cramped telemarketing office near Times Square, selling products no one wants and trying not to think about everything he’s lost.

When a pink slip arrives instead of a promotion, something inside Bill finally snaps.

By the end of the day, he has a dead supervisor on his hands—and a future that can’t be fixed by apologies, ambition, or career counseling.

What follows is a dark, accelerating descent into rage, paranoia, and self-destruction, set in a New York City where work is humiliation, success is fleeting, and violence feels disturbingly inevitable.

Lean, ruthless, and painfully human, Cold Caller is a modern noir classic—an unflinching portrait of a man crushed by the machinery of corporate America and pushed past the point of no return.
