Three Lines

Five kids. Three promises carved into a treehouse wall. A fire that same night.

Never lie. Never leave. Whatever happens, never tell.

The summer they were twelve, five friends from Fig Street swore those words with a pocketknife. Hours later the treehouse burned. Eight-year-old Mateo died inside it, and his sister Catalina vanished without a trace.

Twenty-eight years later, Tess, Jonah, Marcus and Eli hunt cartels for the CIA. Catalina runs one. Across the border they call her La Gata.

Then a raid in the Sierra Madre ends in a massacre, and the Agency is certain someone fed her the plan. There is a mole. The hunt is on. And the four friends from Fig Street suspect everyone except each other.

Now every secret they swore to keep could get one of them killed, and the promise that held them together for twenty-eight years is the one thing that can tear them apart.

Three Lines is Book One of the Three Lines series: a CIA cartel thriller about loyalty, secrets, and the people we’d lie for. For readers who love spy thrillers, cartel stakes, and childhood friendships tested to the breaking point.

Some promises cost more than others.
