The Protectors

Twenty years after the brutal murder of his mother, Stan Hendricks has one goal: become a Wizard Protector and bring justice to those who threaten the magical world.

But becoming a Protector isn’t going to be easy.

After joining the academy alongside his sarcastic best friend, Luke Johnson, Stan discovers that the path to becoming a magical law-enforcement officer is filled with grueling training, dangerous spells, impossible tests, and more than a few unexpected obstacles. When an instructor deliberately sabotages their chances of graduating, Stan and Luke find themselves with their careers hanging by a thread.

Then a series of mysterious murders changes everything.

Mortal activists are being killed one by one, and evidence points toward the long-dormant Syndicate, a dangerous organization of dark wizards determined to destroy the mortal world. With the official investigation struggling to find answers, Stan and Luke decide to take matters into their own hands.

What begins as an unauthorized investigation soon becomes personal.

As Stan digs deeper, he discovers connections between the murders, his mother’s death, the Syndicate, and secrets that powerful people have worked hard to keep hidden. Every clue brings him closer to the truth, but the closer he gets, the more dangerous the investigation becomes.

Can two inexperienced recruits solve a murder case that has left seasoned Wizard Protectors baffled?

Can Stan uncover the truth behind his mother’s death?

And when revenge becomes the driving force behind justice, how far will he go to make the people responsible pay?

Enter Wizapolis, where magic, murder, friendship, corruption, and revenge collide.
